Madison Keys (USA) qualified for the semi-finals of the US Open 2023 after defeating the 9th-seeded and reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:4) in 1:21 hours of play.

Madison Keys started the match more aggressive and achieved an early break already in the first serve game of her opponent. Thus, Madison Keys qualified for the semi-finals of the US Open 2023 and will face the second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka. The American tennis player is the US Open finalist in 2017, but never won a Grand Slam trophy.
