Lyon ASVEL Feminin is the EuroCup Women 2022/2023 champion

The basketball team of Lyon ASVEL Feminin won the second leg final play-off match of the Eurocup Women and won the trophy. The French team defeated their Turkish opponents of Galatasaray by 85-57 (23-13, 32-14, 16-15, 14-15) and with their second victory and an aggregate score of 180-113 are the new EuroCup Women 2022/2023 winners.

Lyon ASVEL Feminin started the match more aggressively and did not lose control of the match from the very beginning to the end. They took a serious lead of 28 points after the half of the match and then lowered the pace and mostly defended the result.

Marine Johannes was the most effective for the French basketball team with 20 pts, 2 rebs, and 6 asts, while Gabby Williams finished the match with 13 pts and 6 rebs. Blake Dietrick and Sandrine Gruda added 11 pts each.

For Galatasaray, Teaira McCowan was the most valuable player of the match with 21 pts, 6 rebs and 1 ast, while Kamile Nacickaite added 8 pts and 3 rebs. However, this was not enough for the team and they lost the game.
