Luisa Bertani crashed out in the women’s parallel slalom qualifications at the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Meribel and Courchevel (France).
The Italian, who competes for Bulgaria, gave the 17th time on the blue course of 35.84 sec. According to the regulation, only the first eight from each track continue in the finals.
Luisa Bertani was more than a second behind Switzerland’s Camille Rast, who finished eighth on the blue course with 34.46 sec and continues to the finals. The fastest on the blue course was Sara Hector from Sweden with 33.57 sec, and on the red – Thea Louise Stjernesund from Norway with 33.40 sec.
Luisa Bertani had three consecutive FIS giant slalom victories this year, being in perfect form and showing a great ride.
