Italian tennis player Lucia Bronzetti qualified for the final of the WTA 250 Morocco Open in Rabat after defeating the 2nd-seeded Sloane Stephens (USA) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:1) in a little more than an hour.
Lucia Bronzetti made two early breaks in the start of the first set and closed it with her third break at result 6:1. The second set started in similar way as the Italian took a lead by 3:0 and closing it again at 6:1. Obviously it was not a good day for Sloane Stephens as she was almost missing on the court.
In the final at the WTA 250 Morocco Open in Rabat, Lucia Bronzetti will face Julia Grabher (Austria), who eliminated the 20-years-old WTA debutant Julia Riera (Argentina) by 2-1 (6:1, 3:6, 7:6) in 2:21 hours. This was the first WTA tournament for Argentinian tennis talent, who made a sensational performance.
