Liudmila Samsonova won her semi-final match versus Bernarda Pera with 2-0 (6:1, 6:2) for 54 minutes. The Russian player did not give any chance to her American opponent and took the initiative from the first game. She made two breaks at the beginning of each of the sets and won the match without any resistance from Bernarda Pera.
Aliaksandra Sasnovich reached the final after a tough match versus Alize Cornet with 2-1 (6:7, 7:5, 6:3). The match lasted almost 3 hours, which was a big test for the energy of both players. Alize Cornet has her chance in the second set when she was serving for the match, but Aliaksandra Sasnovich succeeded to break her serve and eventually won the set. However, in the last set, the Belarusian tennis player was fresher and used the pace in her improved game, winning the match and reaching the final.
