Vaida Padimanskaite is a Lithuanian athlete, who competes in the long jump and the triple jump. She is a national indoor champion.
Vaida Padimanskaite was born on August 7, 2000. She started in athletics as a child. Initially, she started in sprints and jumps, but later on specialized in the long jump and triple jump only.
Vaida Padimanskaite started her competitive career in 2015, competing at the Klaipeda U16 Events in 60m and Alytus Lithuanian U18 Championships in 200m and long jump, but her biggest achievement for the season was winning the silver at the Siauliai Lithuanian U18 Indoor Championships and the gold at the Schwechat Franz Schuster Memorial in the long jump.
In 2016, Vaida Padimanskaite won the gold at the Alytus Lithuanian U18 Championships and the silver at the Vilnius LTU-EST-LAT U18 Match in the long jump. She also competed at the Vilnius Lithuanian U20 Championships and the Kuldiga Baltic Indoor U18 Match.
Vaida Padimanskaite debuted at the senior national championships in 2017, competing at the Klaipeda Lithuanian Indoor Championships and winning the silver. She also took part at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships but remained only 6th. During the season she won the silver at the Vilnius Lithuanian Indoor Club Championships and Kaunas Lithuanian U20 Championships, as well as the bronze at the Kaunas Lithuanian University Championships and the Siauliai Baltic U18 Championships.
In 2018, Vaida Padimanskaite won another national medal at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships in the long jump, earning the silver. She also grabbed the silver at the Vilnius Lithuanian U20 Championships and Vilnius Lithuanian Indoor Club Championships. Vaida Padimanskaite competed at the Minsk International U20 Indoor Match and Klaipeda Lithuanian Indoor Championships, but missed the honors.
Vaida Padimanskaite won her first triple jump national medal in 2019, earning the bronze at the Lithuanian Championships with 12.64m. In the long jump, she continues being one of the best talents in the country, winning the silver at the LLAF Cup and Lithuanian U20 Championships. She competed also at the Baltic Team Championships and Lithuanian Indoor Championships.
In 2020, Vaida Padimanskaite won her first and only national title at the Klaipeda Lithuanian Indoor Championships in the long jump. In the triple jump, she also won the bronze at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships, as well as the silver at the Ogre Baltic Team Championships and the Klaipeda Lithuanian Indoor Championships. She also won the gold at the Lithuanian Indoor University Championships in the triple jump. During the season, she achieved her personal best in the long jump with 6.26m and in the triple jump with 13.58m.
In 2021, Vaida Padimanskaite competed at the Tallinn European Athletics U23 Championships in the triple jump but remained out of the medals zone. However, in the same discipline, she earned the bronze at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships and the silver at the Klaipeda Lithuanian Indoor Championships.
Vaida Padimanskaite missed most of the season in 2022 but succeeded in earning the silver medals at the LAF Open Cup Competition in Palaga and the SELL Student Games in Ogre.
In 2023, Vaida Padimanskaite missed the indoor season, but succeeded in earning another long jump silver at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships and the long jump gold at the SK Cosma Summer Cup. In the triple jump, she finished 4th at the Palanga Lithuanian Championships.
