Leylah Fernandez qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 250 Jiangxi Open

Leylah Fernandez (Canada) qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 250 Jiangxi Open in Nanchang, China. The Canadian tennis player defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich (Belarus) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:4) in 1:24 hours and eyes her second consecutive WTA title after extending her winning series to eight.

In the other semi-finals, Marie Bouzkova (Czech Republic) will face Diana Shnaider (Russia). The Czech tennis player qualified after defeating Camila Osorio (Colombia) by 2-0 (6:0, 6:4), while the Russian player eliminated Nao Hibino (japan) after 2-0 (6:0, 7:5).
