Kralovo Pole (Brno) triumphed in the Czech Cup

The women’s volleyball team of Kralovo Pole (Brno) triumphed in the Czech Cup. The team led by Erik Nezhoda defended last year’s trophy after beating TJ Ostrava with 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-15) in the final played in Teplice.

This is the seventh Czech Cup for the volleyball team of Kralovo Pole (Brno). The team won its first Cup in 1993. The following trophies were lifted in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2022. The final is the 12th for the team.

The Bulgarian volleyball player Simona Nikolova was the top scorer for the winners with 21 points (2 aces). Magdalena Bukovska finished with 14 points (2 aces). For the opponent, Elen Jedlickova was the only one with a double-digit asset – 11 points (3 blocks).

In the semi-finals, Kralovo Pole (Brno) beat VK UP Olomouc with a 3-1, while TJ Ostrava defeated PVK Olymp Praha.
