Ereleta Memeti is a Kosovan footballer who plays as a midfielder for German club 1899 Hoffenheim and is the captain of the Kosovo national team.
Ereleta Memeti was born on June 30, 1999, in Schwabisch Hall, Germany to Kosovan immigrants. She has a dual citizenship. She started playing for the youth team of VfL Sindelfingen, where developed her skills. Ereleta Memeti was called for Germany’s U19 national team in 2017 to play for the UEFA Women’s U19 European Championship qualifications and the championship itself. Ereleta Memeti made one appearance at the UEFA Women’s U19 European Championship versus Scotland U19 in the last match of the group stage, where she scored the third goal for the German team, which won by 3-0.
Ereleta Memeti started her professional football career in 2016,. playing for the home team VfL Sindelfingen. With the club, she has 18 appearances and 6 goals.
In 2017, after only one season with the club, she was transferred to VfL Wolfsburg, where she played for VfL Wolfsburg II in the Second Bundesliga Women. For the club, she played 53 matches and scored 13 goals.
In 2020, Ereleta Memeti made another transfer to SC Freiburg for an undisclosed amount. With the club, she played in the Bundesliga Women for two seasons.
