Kenyan Cheboy Jepkosgei won the Wizz Air Sofia Marathon

The Kenyan Cheboy Jepkosgei won the Wizz Air Sofia Marathon in the Bulgarian capital. She was ahead of all with a time of 2:45:52.

Second in the Wizz Air Sofia Marathon was Ayele Meseret Engidu from Ethiopia with 2:45:57, and third is another representative of Kenya – Kaenya Nyeri with 3:00:37.

Bulgarian Tanya Dimitrova was fourth with 3:00:41.

Nearly 4,000 participants took part in this year’s edition of the Sofia Marathon.

Meanwhile, in the half-marathon, Marinela Nineva (Bulgaria) clocked at 1:17:48, winning the title. The top 3 were completed by Nora Trklja (Serbia) with 1:21:14 hours and Fruzsina Bakonyi (Hungary) with 1:21:23 hours.
