Kenyan athletes were fastest at the “home” half marathon in Nakuru

Kenyan athletes were fastest at the “home” half marathon in Nakuru (Kenya) with very strong results. More than 2,000 runners competed for the top prize, but 23-year-old Catherine Relin took the win in 1:06.48 hours, followed by Jackline Chelal came second with 1:07:46 hours.

Janet Chepkoech Langat came third with 1:08:26 hours.

“Depending on the advice from my coaches, I’m determined to improve on my training sessions”, said Catherine Relin, who was second in the Eldama Ravine Half Marathon last month.

The winner received a cheque of Sh500,000, which was presented by Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
