Keltern basketball team won the Germany DBBL Women’s title

Basketball team Keltern won the Germany DBBL Women’s title after winning the third leg as a visitor of the final versus TK Hannover and closed the session at 3-0. Keltern won the third match by 66-52 (15-20, 13-9, 19-12, 19-11) and this was enough for winning the trophy.

Keltern had some problems in the first quarter but equalized by the end of the first half. At the start of the fourth quarter, the visitors had a double-digit lead, with Krystal Vaughn leading Keltern with a double-double from 23 pts and 14 rebs. Hannover had to do without their top scorer Angel Rizor.

Thus, Keltern finished the match with enough advantage and won it without any doubt.

In the previous two legs, the team won by 57-51 as a visitors and by 83-51 as a host. This is the third title for the team after winning in 2017/2018 and 2020/2021.
