Keflavik qualified for the final in the women’s basketball championship of Iceland

Keflavik qualified for the final in the women’s basketball championship of Iceland. The team won as a visitor of Njardvik with 79-44 (25-16, 25-12, 14-8, 15-8) and won the series with 3:1 victories.

The most valuable for the Keflavik was Daniela Wallen with a “double-double” – 19 pts, 15 rebs, and 5 asts. Karina Konstantinova finished the match with 13 pts, 3 rebs, 6 asts, while her teammate Birna Benonysdottir added 10 pts for the success.

For the team of Njardvik Isabella Sigurdardottir finished the match also with a “double-double” – 14 pts, 14 rebs, and 1 ast.

In the final, Keflavik will face the winner between Valur and Haukar. The result in the match is 2:2 after Haukar defeated the hosts of Valur by 80-70.
