Iceland’s women’s basketball team Keflavik achieved another victory in the local championship. The team defeated Grindavik by 81-64 (18-9, 21-26, 28-13, 17-13) and recorded the 18th success in 20 games since the beginning of the season.
Thus, Keflavik remains on the top of the standings with 36 points.
The most effective for the team Keflavik was Daniela Wallen with a triple-double – 19 pts, 12 rebs, and 12 asts. Birna Benonysdottir added 18 pts and 3 rebs, while Anna Svansdottir ended the match with 12 pts, 2 rebs and 5 asts.
