Katie Moon will be the international event ambassador for the Mumbai Marathon

Two-time world champion and 2020 Olympic gold medalist in pole vault Katie Moon is the international event ambassador for the Mumbai Marathon, which will be held on January 21, 2024. The Mumbai Marathon is a World Athletics ‘Gold Label’ event.

This summer, for the first time in the history of the world championships, a gold medal was shared jointly between two participants. The 32-year-old American will defend her title at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

She has three medals from the World Championships in Athletics: silver at the World Indoor Championships in 2022 in Belgrade and gold medals in Eugene in 2022 and Budapest in 2023. In 2023, she also won first place in the Diamond League.
