Karolina Pliskova qualified for the final of the WTA 250 Transylvania Open

Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic) qualified for the final of the WTA 250 Transylvania Open tennis tournament in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) with a prize fund of over 267,000 USD. In the semi-finals, the Czech tennis player defeated Harriet Dart (Great Britain) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:3)

The former world number one made five breaks against just two for the British player and closed the match at her first opportunity after 84 minutes of play.

The 31-year-old Karolina Pliskova will try to win her 17th career title. Her opponent in the final will be the Romanian tennis player, Ana Bogdan. The 8th-seeded Romanian player prevailed with2-1 (6:3, 3:6, 6:4) against her compatriot Jaqueline Cristian.

Ana Bogdan, 31, has not won a single WTA title in her career so far.
