Kamila Valieva won the women’s title at the Russian Grand Prix

Beijing 2022 Olympic team champion Kamila Valieva won the women’s title at the sixth stage of the Russian Grand Prix. The competition takes place in the capital Moscow.

Kamila Valieva performed excellently and collected 226.22 points. The second place went to Veronika Yametova with 212.75 points, and the bronze award went to Sofia Muravyeva with 210.25 points.

“Of course, I’m glad that I managed to win the first place. This is a push to move forward. I think last year was difficult for me, but it was like preparation. The race in Moscow is the final stage of the Russian Grand Prix. The final will take place from February 15 to 18 in Magnitogorsk. The winner in the first and second stage was Adeliia Petrosian, in the third Anna Frolova, in the fourth Sofia Muravyeva, and in the fifth Kseniia Sinitsyna.

Kamila Valieva is still expecting the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling on the doping case from Beijing 2022 Olympics.
