Kamila Valieva won the Russian jumping figure skating championship

The Olympic champion in the team competition in figure skating from Beijing 2022 Kamila Valieva won the Russian championship in jumping, which was held in St Petersburg.

In the final, the figure skated who trains under Eteri Tutberidze turned out to be stronger than Sofia Muravieva, part of the Evgeni Plushenko’s team.

Kamila Valieva performed two quadruple jumps and received 27.55 points for them (13.62 and 13.93), Sofia Muravieva made two triple axels (11.20 and 11.47).

Before that, Evgeni Plushenko’s team won the team competition.

The 16-year-old Kamila Valieva is the Olympic champion in the team tournament in Beijing 2022, the current champion of Russia and Europe. 16-year-old Sofia Muravieva is the winner of the junior Grand Prix series, a two-time bronze medalist for girls from the Russian championship.
