Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva has resumed training after the Beijing 2022 Olympics. She is training in Moscow, although it is unclear whether she will take part in the World Figure Skating Championships in France in March.
Kamila Valieva tested positive for the Russian national championship on December 25th, but the result was revealed on February 8th, after she had already competed in the Beijing 2022 Olympics in the team competition.
The Russian team, which included Kamila Valieva, Mark Kondratiuk, Anastasia Mishina and Aleksandr Galliamov, Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov, won gold in the team, and 15-year-old Valieva took fourth place individually.
The Russian Kamila Valieva is a European champion and holder of world records for short program (90.45 points), free program (185.29 points), and total (272.71 points).
