The athlete from Saint Lucia, who won the world title in the 60m indoor in Glasgow this winter, also won the Olympic title in the 100m in Paris. The sprinter from Saint Lucia launched herself from the starting block and gave absolutely no chance to her rivals in the rain. It is also the first Olympic medal for Saint Lucia in history.
