The American cross-country skier Jessie Diggins won the 10km freestyle split start at the Cross Country Skiing World Cup at Ostersund Winter Centre in Sweden. This is her second consecutive victory after the success in Gallivare and the 16th overall of her career.
Jessie Diggins finished the distance with a time of 27:05.6 minutes. The American left Heidi Weng (Norway), who finished in second place, 23 seconds behind her. Victoria Carl (Germany) finished third, who was 29.1 seconds behind the winner. The top five is completed by Flora Dolci (France) and Rosie Brennan (USA).
Jessie Diggins leads the women’s World Cup standings with 537 points, her compatriot Rosie Brennan is in second place with 500 points, and Emma Ribom (Sweden) is third with 499 points.
In the ranking of the distance disciplines, Jessie Diggins also leads with 375 points ahead of Ebba Andersson (Sweden) with 368 points and Rosie Brennan with 341 points.
