The American tennis player Jessica Pegula qualified for the Round of 16 at the US Open 2022 tennis championship, defeating China’s Yue Yuan by 2-1 (6:2, 6:7, 6:0). The match between the two lasted a little over two hours.
Jessica Pegula broke twice in the first set to secure the advantage. In the second, the two tennis players were much more equal, with a tiebreak won dramatically by the Chinese player.
