Bronze medalist in cross-country sprint Jessica Diggins has received help from the US team in the form of competition in the individual sprint at the Beijing 2022 Olympics. Her compatriot Rosie Brennan finished fourth in an extremely tense race.
“She was amazing, she drives so well”, said Jessica Diggins for Rosie Brennan, who was just 1.36 sec behind third place. “I know what it is. I am so proud of Rosie, she is doing very well. She is doing everything right, I am happy to be her teammate”, added she.
Jessica Diggins was part of the US team that won first place in the team sprint at the PyeongChang 2018. The Americans ended the wait for a medal in cross-country skiing, which lasted more than four decades.
“We were an amazing team then. So many people helped make this a huge success”, said Jessica Diggins.
The skiing star Kikkan Randall was also part of the US team at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics four years ago.
Jessica Diggins is an American cross-country skier.
