Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won the gold in the 100m hurdles in Hungary

Tokyo 2020 Olympic 100m hurdles champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn showed excellent form at the event at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix at Szekesfehervar, winning the race in 12.27 sec, but with a headwind above the allowances.

Kendra Harrison (USA) finished second in 12.49 sec and Nia Ali (USA) was third in 12.60 sec.

The fourth in the women’s 100m hurdles was Alaysha Johnson (USA) with 12.62 sec, followed by Chanel Brissett (USA) with 12.87 sec and Gabriele Cunningham (USA) with 13.09 sec.

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn is a Puerto Rican track and field athlete who specializes in the 100m hurdles. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, she became the second person representing Puerto Rico ever to win a gold medal while representing Puerto Rico. In the semi-finals, Camacho-Quinn set her personal best and Olympic record of 12.26 seconds, which is tied for the fourth fastest time in history. Among her biggest achievements are also the bronze medal from the 2022 Eugene World Championships, as well as the gold from the 2016 San Salvador NACAC Under-23 Championship.
