Japan with a second win in the Women’s Asian Cup

The women’s football team of Japan won by 3-0 versus Vietnam in the second match of Group C at the Women’s Asian Cup. This is the second win for the team, which smashed Myanmar with 5-0 in the first match. Thus, Japan is the leader in the group with 6 points and 8-0 goal difference.

Japan was visibly the better team on the ground and took a lead in 38′ by Yui Narumiya. Saki Kumagai scored the second goal in 50′, while Yui Narumiya formed the final score of 3-0 in 58′.

In the other match of the group, South Korea won by 2-0 versus Myanmar after the goals of Geum-Min Lee (50′) and So-Yun Ji (84′).

Japan is the leader in the Group C of the Women’s Asian Cup with a full active of 6 pts and 8-0 goal difference. The second is South Korea with 6 pts and a 5:0 goal difference. The third is Vietnam and the last is Myanmar, both without a point and a scored goal.
