European women’s volleyball champion Italy qualified for the semi-finals at the 2022 World Cup in the Netherlands and Poland. Davide Mazzanti-led team gave only a game and prevailed over China by 3-1 (25:16, 25:22, 13:25, 25:17) in the quarter-final, played tonight in front of 4000 spectators in the Omnisport hall in Apeldoorn.
Thus, Italy reached the final four of the Women’s World Volleyball Championships for the third time in a row and for the 5th time in total.
