Giorgia Frosini is an Italian volleyball player, playing as the opposite of the Uyba Volley Busto Arsizio. She is the Women Champions League and Club World Championship silver medalist, as well as the Women World Championships U20 champion and Women World Championships U19 silver medalist, where was awarded Best opposite.
Giorgia Frosini was born on November 29, 2022, in Bologna, Italy. She is the daughter of sports manager and former basketball player Alessandro Frosini. Giorgia Frosini started in volleyball at an early age and proved her skills, becoming one of the most prominent Italian volleyball talents.
Giorgia Frosini trained in Verona volleyball team, making her professional debut in Serie C at the age of just over 13, in the 2016/2017 season. She moved to Pool Piave, which in fact constitutes the youth sector of Imoco, where she completed her youth career, also competing in the Serie B1 and Serie B2 championships in the following three years. In 2017 she was called for the Italian U16 national team and won the European Championships U16. The next season, she earned the silver at the European Championships U17 2018 and a season later she won the silver at the World Championships U19 2019, where was awarded for Best opposite.
In season 2019/2020, Giorgia Frosini made her debut in top volleyball, playing in Serie A2 with Club Italia Crai. She made her biggest achievement during the season, winning the gold at the World Championships U20 2021 with Italy U20 national team.
In the 2021/2022 season, she was promoted to the first team of Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano in Serie A1, winning the Italian Super Cup, the Italian Cup, and the Italian Supercup, as well as finishing as a runner-up in the Champions League and Club World Championship 2021/2022. Meanwhile, she earned the gold at the European Championships U21 2022 and Mediterranean Games 2022
Giorgia Frosini signed with Volley Bergamo in 2022, winning the bronze in the Italian Cup. She continues playing also for the Italian national teams, competing at the FISU World University Games 2023.
In 2023, she signed with her current club Uyba Volley Busto Arsizio.
