Beatrice Parrocchiale is an Italian volleyball player, playing as a libero for Vero Volley Milano and the Italy women’s national volleyball team. She is a World Championships silver medalist, as well as European Championships gold and bronze medalist, but also won the CEV Cup with her club.
Beatrice Parrocchiale was born on December 26, 1995, in Milan, Italy. She started in volleyball at an early age and quickly showed her talent.
Beatrice Parrocchiale started her professional career in 2012 for Asystel MC Carnaghi Villa Cortese, playing in Italian Serie A1. In her maiden season, her team finished second in the Italian Cup and was the runner-up at the Italian Supercup. She played also in the Champions League and was called to the Italian U20 national volleyball team to play at the World Championships U20 2013, where finished 4th.
In 2013, Beatrice Parrocchiale signed with Il Bisonte Firenze to play in the Italian Serie A2, where gained experience and playing practice. In her maiden season with the club, they won the Italian Cup A2 and were second in the Italian Serie A2. The team qualified for the Italian Serie A1, where played during the next season. Although the team did not perform so strongly and made some significant achievement in the local championship, Beatrice Parrocchiale was one of the key players and were regularly called in the Italian national team, where earned the gold at the Montreux Volley Masters 2018, the silver at the World Grand Prix 2017 and World Championships 2018, as well as the bronze at the European Championships 2019 and Montreux Volley Masters 2019.
Beatrice Parrocchiale signed with Saugella Team Monza in 2019, which later was renamed to Vero Volley Milano. In her maiden season with the team, they won the bronze at the Italian Cup and the gold at the Trofeo McDonald’s Imola, but most of the other competitions were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the 2020/2021 season, however, they won the CEV Cup and finished third in the Italian Serie A1 and Italian Cup. With the national team, she won the title at the European Championships 2021. In the next season, she continued playing at the top level and helped her team to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League and finished 5th, but also earned the silver medals in the Italian Serie A1. In the 2022/2023 season, her team Vero Volley Milano won the silver at the Italian Serie A1 and Italian Cup and again finished 5th in the Champions League.
Beatrice Parrocchiale is one of the most talented Italian volleyball players and she was selected to be part of the Italian squad for the European Championships 2023, where the team remained without a medal, finishing 4th.
