Laura Giuliani is an Italian football goalkeeper who plays for AC Milan and the Italy national team.
Laura Giuliani was born on June 5, 1993, in Milan, Italy. She started playing football at an early age and her youth team was S.S. La Benvenuta.
Laura Giuliani started her professional career in 2009 for Como 2000 and her debut came on 14 February 2010, against ACF Trento. In the team, she stayed for 3 seasons and played 46 matches. The team was initially playing in the Serie A2 season, but in 2011 qualified for Serie A.
In 2012, Laura Giuliani moved to the German Bundesliga team FSV Gutersloh 2009, where played 6 matches and stayed only one season.
Laura Giuliani signed with Herforder SV in 2013 for two seasons. She had 29 matches for the club and was one of the key players.
In 2015, Laura Giuliani signed with FC Koln. She started as a backup for Lena Nuding but gradually played more and more games, unable, however, to prevent her team from being demoted.
After the relegation of FC Koln, Laura Giuliani signed with SC Freiburg but was unable to prove herself and take and titular place as a goalkeeper.
In 2017, Laura Giuliani returned to Italy and signed with Juventus FC, where she stayed for 4 seasons. With the team, she has 68 matches and won the Serie A trophy in 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021. She also helped Juventus to win Coppa Italia in 2018/2019 and Supercoppa Italiana in 2019 and 2020.
In 2021, Laura Giuliani signed with AC Milan, where she is currently playing.
At the international level, Laura Giuliani played for Italy U-19 and Italy U-20, as well as the senior national team. She received her first call-up for the senior team as Italy faced Austria in a friendly held on April 7, 2013. She was left out of the squad which took part in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2013. Laura Giuliani made her debut on 5 April 2014 against Spain in a 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification match. She started all games for Italy during the 2019 Women’s World Cup.
