Irene Aldana withdraws from her fight with Aspen Ladd. The two had to fight at the UFC 273 event, which is scheduled for April 9 in Florida. The organization is finding a new rival for Aspen Ladd and she will fight Raquel Pennington. Their fight will be in the Bantamweight category.

Aspen Ladd is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional since 2015, she started her professional mixed martial arts career in Invicta FC. Aspen Ladd has a personal MMA record of 9-2-0 (W-L-D) and last lost to Norma Dumont at the end of 2021. She has won just one of her last 3 UFC fights. Three years ago, she lost her undefeated status after a knockout by Germaine de Randamie in 16 seconds.

Raquel Pennington is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s featherweight division. She has previously fought in Invicta Fighting Championships. Raquel Pennington has a personal MMA record of 13-8-0 (W-L-D) and is in a series of 3 consecutive victories. In her last fight, she beat Macy Chiasson at the end of 2021 via guillotine choke submission.
