Imoco Volley Conegliano was top in the regular season in the Italian Super League

The Italian volleyball team Imoco Volley Conegliano finished the regular season in the Italian Super League on the top of the standings.

The team led by Daniele Santarelli defeated Volley Bergamo 1991 with 3-0 (25:13, 28:26, 25:16) in a match in the last 26th round of Serie A1.

The top scorer was again Paola Egonu with 23 points (1 block, 65% efficiency in attack), Kathryn Plummer finished with 14 points (1 ace, 1 block). Miriam Sylla added 12 points (1 ace) and Hristina Ruseva scored 6 points (1 block, 71% efficiency in attack).

For Bergamo, Khalia Lanier scored 13 points (1 ace, 1 block), Sara Loda scored 10 points.

Imoco Volley Conegliano won the regular season with 66 points (23 wins, 3 losses), as did Igor Gorgonzola Novara, but with a worse ratio. Volley Bergamo 1991 is 12th with 20 points (7 wins, 19 losses).

In the playoffs, Imoco Volley Conegliano faces Il Bisonte Firenze on April 9 (Saturday). The second match is on April 13 (Wednesday).
