Iga Swiatek vs Kaja Juvan

Iga Swiatek qualified for the Round of 16 at the US Open Tennis Championship. Last year’s champion and top-seeded won easily by 2-0 (6:0, 6:1) against the qualifier Kaja Juvan (Slovenia) in only 50 minutes.

The Polish tennis player was in total control of the match, dominating all aspects of the game. The world’s number one took advantage of all three of her breakpoints in the first set when she allowed the Slovenian to win just three points on Iga Swiatek’s serve

The Polish tennis player won the first 11 points of the second set and took the victory against one of her best friends after just 50 minutes.

In the next round, the 2022 US Open champion Iga Swiatek will face Jelena Ostapenko (Latvia), who eliminated Bernarda Pera (USA) by 2-1 (4:6, 6:3, 6:3).
