The Polish player, who is WTA No 8, made 4 breaks against 2 of her opponent in the first set, which brought the win to her. The second set started with a lead for the Belarusian player, who took a lead of 3:0 with one break, but Iga Swiatek won the next 6 games to close the set and match from the first match point.
In the semi-finals, Iga Swiatek will face the Greek Maria Sakkari.
