Former UFC Bantamweight champion Holly Holm is ready for a potential return to boxing. The 40-year-old American has not competed since October 2020, when she won a dominant victory over Irene Aldana. To date, Holly Holm is in a series of 2 consecutive victories and a professional MMA record of 14-5-0 (W-L-D).
Before entering MMA, Holly Holm competed in boxing, where he recorded 33-2-3 in the ring. She was a multiple world boxing champion, defending her title 18 times in three weight categories and twice becoming Fighter of the Year from Ring magazine (2005, 2006).
Holly Holm is a member of the Boxing Hall of Fame and believes she can become a champion again.
“I miss boxing. It will always be a part of my heart and you never know. I can go back to the ring because a lot of people do. Many fighters try to change sports and no one succeeds”, said Holly Holm. “Not many people can do it successfully, but I can. I know I can. I know I can go back to boxing and become a champion again”, added Holly Holm.
