Michelle Uhrig is a German speed skater, who competed in the women’s 1,000m at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics and 1,500m and mass start at the Beijing 2022 Olympics. Michelle Uhrig is a bronze at the European Championships 2018 in Kolomna, Russia, and a multiple German national champion.
Michelle Uhrig was born on January 20, 1996, in Berlin, Germany. She started in sports from an early age. She competed at the Youth Olympics in 2012, finishing 5th at the mass start, 7th at the 1,500m, and 9th at the 2x500m. She is a national champion in 2011 and silver medalist in 2012 and also competed at the 2014 Bjugn and 2015 Warszawa World Championships.
Michelle Uhrig won the titles at the German Allround Championships in 2017, 1,000m and 1,500m German Single Distances Championships in 2020, 1,500m German Single Distances Championships in 2022, as well as 3,000m and mass start German Single Distances Championships 2023. She is also a silver and bronze medalist in the local championships between 2020 and 2023.
Michelle Uhrig won a bronze at the team pursuit at the European Championships 2018 in Kolomna, Russia. Among her best achievements are also the bronze in the Minsk event at the World Cup 2017/2018.
