Garbine Muguruza and Barbora Krejcikova will compete at the final of the WTA 1000 Dubai Tennis Championships. Both reached the final match after two-set wins, showing best form at the tournament.
Garbine Muguruza won the match on the semi-finals versus Elise Mertens with 2-0 (6:4; 7:6). Earlier, she eliminated Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Amanda Anisimova, and Irina-Camelia Begu. Garbine Muguruza lost only one set since the beginning of the championship and showed perfect form. In the final match, she is the favorite and has a great chance to win the tournament. Just a week ago, she missed winning Doha Open, losing from Petra Kvitova by 2-0 (6:2; 6:1).
Barbora Krejcikova won the semi-finals match with Jil Teichmann by 2-0 (7:5; 6:2). She reached this stage after eliminating Anastasia Potapova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Jelena Ostapenko, and Maria Sakkari.
The final match starts at 15:00 GMT.
