Gabriela Petrova won the triple jump gold at an international athletics tournament in Ghent

Gabriela Petrova (Bulgaria) achieved victory at an international athletics tournament in Ghent. The Bulgarian triple jump athlete won the competition in the Belgian city with an achievement of 13.93m. Gabriela Petrova registered this result in his first attempt in the sector.

She then had just one more successful attempt in the event of 13.45m on her third outing in the sector.

The European indoor silver medalist from Prague 2015 achieved 14.38m earlier in the season in an unranked competition in Sofia after nearly two years out of action due to injuries.

Gabriela Petrova is on Bulgaria’s list for the Balkan Championships in Istanbul on February 10.

Gabriela Petrova is a Bulgarian athlete specializing in the triple jump. She won the silver medal at the 2015 European Indoor Championships in Prague. In addition, she finished fifth at the 2014 European Championships in Zurich. Her personal bests in the triple jump are 14.66m outdoors (Beijing 2015) and 14.55m indoors (Dobrich 2015).
