Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva qualified for the finals of the women’s doubles badminton tournament “BWF Tour Super 100” in Orleans (France) with a prize fund of 90,000 USD. The Bulgarians beat the eighth in the semifinals in the scheme Chloe Birch and Jessica Pugh from England with 21:15 and 21:12 in 32 minutes.
In the first game after 10:10 Stoevi sisters made a strong series and took the lead. In the second half, the game was tied until 12:12, after which they won nine unanswered points and closed the match.
Thus, Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva will fight for the second consecutive title tomorrow, after they became champions of the “BWF Tour Super 300” tournament in Basel (Switzerland) last Sunday.
In the final, the Bulgarians will play against the winners of the match between Stine Kuspert / Emma Moszczynski (Germany) and Shikha Gautam / Ashwini Bhat (India).
