France defeated Norway en route to the United Cup semi-finals

The French tennis team prevailed over the Norwegian team by 2-1 and qualified for the semi-finals of the “United Cup”, where they will face Poland.

An excellent start for the French was given by Caroline Garcia, who defeated Malene Helgo by 2-1 (6:2, 6:7, 7:6). The contested match lasted more than two and a half hours, and in the end it was all decided thanks to Caroline Garcia’s greater experience.

However, Norway quickly equalized the result after Casper Ruud left no chances to Adrian Mannarino winning the match by 2-0 (6:1, 6:4).

In the decisive mixed doubles match, Caroline Garcia and Edouard Roger-Vasselin defeated Ulrikke Eikeri and Casper Ruud by 2-0 (7:5, 6:4).
