Fenerbahce Women defeated Besiktas JK by 3-2 in Istanbul’s derby match of the eleventh round of the Turkey Super Lig Women. The female footballers of Fenerbahce achieved important success at home to keep their third position in the standings, just 3 points from the leaders.
Esra Manya gave a lead to the visitors of Besiktas JK in the 16th minute, but Yasam Goksu (45′) and Yagmur Uraz (45+2′) turnover over the score at the very end of the first half, just before the half-time. Yagmur Uraz scored her second goal in the match in the 79th minute to bring the victory to her team although Besiktas JK succeeded in returning one goal in the 5th minute of the stoppage time.
The leader in the standings is Galatasaray Women with 30 points, followed by the reigning champion Fomget GSK with 29 points, while Fenerbahce Women is third with 27 points.
On the bottom of the standings are 1207 Antalyaspor Women with 4 points, Adana Idmanyurduspor with 4 points, and Atasehir Women with 1 point.
