Fenerbahce Opet recorded their 14th victory in the Turkish Volleyball League

The volleyball team of Fenerbahce Opet (Istanbul) recorded their 14th victory in the Turkish League. The team led by Zoran Terzic beat PTT Spor (Ankara) 3-0 (25:21, 25:15, 25:10) in a match of the 18th round of the championship, played at Bashkent Hall in front of 5,000 spectators.

The top scorer was Ana Cristina de Souza with 19 points (1 ace, 2 blocks), while Anna Lazareva finished with 16 points (2 aces, 1 block). Bulgarian volleyball star Hristina Vuchkova scored 10 points (1 ace, 4 blocks, 71% efficiency in attack).

Merve Tanıl finished with 7 points for PTT Spor (Ankara).

Fenerbahce Opet is third in the provisional ranking with an asset of 42 points (14 wins, 4 losses), PTT Spor is 11th with 20 points (7 wins, 11 losses).

In the next round, Fenerbahce Opet faces Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, in the Istanbul derby – on March 11 (Saturday). PTT goes against Eczacibasi Dynavit.
