Femke Bol won her second gold at the 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Athletics Championships

The 400m world record holder and 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Athletics champion in the event, Femke Bol, added another title from this championship. Femke Bol, Lieke Klaver, Cathelijn Peeters and Lisanne de Witte triumphed in the 4x400m relay in a season’s world best of 3:25.07 min.

The American team (Quanera Hayes, Talitha Diggs, Bailey Lear and Alexis Holmes) finished second in 3:25.34 min.

The Great Britain team of Laviai Nielsen, Lina Nielsen, Emma Pippy and Jessie Knight set a new national record of 3:26.36 min for the bronze medals.

Earlier, the incredible Femke Bol set a new world record in the 400m at the 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Athletics Championships. With absolute ease she ran the distance and crossed the finish line in 49.17 sec. Thus, the Dutch woman improved by 7 hundredths her previous record, set earlier in the season.

The Dutch sprinters totally dominated, with Lieke Klaver winning the silver with 50.16 sec.
