Femke Bol and Shericka Jackson have confirmed their participation in the Stockholm Diamond League

World champions Femke Bol and Shericka Jackson have confirmed their participation in the Diamond League tournament in Stockholm on June 2, the organizers of the competition have announced.

“I’m happy to be back in Stockholm, where I have good memories of my last run, where I set a stadium record of 52.27 sec two years ago”, said Femke Bol, who earlier this month won the world 400m indoor title in Glasgow with a new world record and was also part of the Netherlands’ 4x400m relay that won gold in Scotland.

Femke Bol competes in hurdling and sprinting. She specialiзes in the 400m hurdles, where she is the 2023 World Champion, and in the 400m, where she is the 2024 World Indoor Champion and the short track world record holder. In the 4x400m relay, she is the 2023 World Champion and the 2024 World Indoor Champion with the Dutch women’s team.

The program for the Stockholm tournament includes the women’s 100m and 200m sprints and it is not yet clear which event Shericka Jackson will choose to compete in.

Shericka Jackson is competing in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. In the 100m, she’s the fifth fastest woman of all time, while in the 200m, she’s the fastest woman alive and second fastest woman in history.
