Russian coach Dmitry Tursunov will not continue to work with US Open tennis champion Emma Raducanu.
On July 28, “Daily Mail” announced that Radukanu will train under Tursunov. The following day, the chairman of the House of Commons digital, culture, media and sport select committee, Julian Knight, said he was unhappy that a British tennis player was collaborating with the Russian specialist.
The publication reports that Emma Raducanu is looking for a new coach. The British tennis player ended the season ahead of schedule, but will participate in the finals of the “Billie Jean King Cup” with the Great Britain team.
The 19-year-old Emma Raducanu is the world’s No 68 in the WTA rankings. She has no other titles in her career apart from the US Open. This year at the Grand Slam tournament in New York, the Briton was eliminated in the first round.
