Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) won the title at the WTA 500 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix clay tennis tournament in Stuttgart (Germany) with a prize money of 922,573 USD for the third year in a row.
The fourth-seeded tennis player from Kazakhstan defeated Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine) in the final with 2-0 (6:2, 6:2) in 69 minutes to grab the title.
So Elena Rybakina won her third title of the year, third on clay and eighth overall in her career. The 24-year-old tennis player triumphed in Brisbane and Abu Dhabi in 2024. The win over Marta Kostyuk was her 26th of the season.
The Kazakhstani tennis player advanced to the final after ending the Stuttgart streak of ten consecutive successes of world’s number one Iga Swiatek (Poland), defeating her by 2-1 (6:3, 4:6, 6:3) in the semi-finals.
Together with the title and the prize money, Elena Rybakina also wins a Porsche but she was in the passenger seat because she doesn’t have a driving license.
