Elena Rybakina defeated Linda Noskova and advanced to the third round of the Roland Garros

The 4th-seeded Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) advanced to the third round of the Roland Garros after defeating Linda Noskova (Czech Republic) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:3).

The Kazakhstani player did not faced big difficulties, breaking three times her opponent – two times in the first set and once in the second. Elena Rybakina scored 5 aces and 30 winners, far ahead of 16 winners for her opponent. Both players made 26 unforced errors each.

In the next round, Elena Rybakina will face Sara Sorribes Tormo (Spain), who eliminated Petra Martic (Croatia) after 2-0 (6:4, 6:1).

The 20th-seeded Madison Keys (USA) is out of the tournament after losing to her compatriot Kayla Day by 1-2 (2:6, 6:4, 4:6). In the next round, Kayla Day will face Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (Slovakia), who defeated Aliona Bolsova Zadoinov (Spain) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:4).

Elisabetta Cocciaretto (Italy) continue her successful performance at the Roland Garros after reaching third round. The Italian defeated Simona Waltert (Switzerland) by 2-0 (6:2, 6:3) and her next opponent will be the winner between Bernarda Pera (USA) and Donna Vekic (Croatia).

Xinyu Wang (China) also advanced to the next round after defeating Rebecca Peterson (Sweden) by 2-0 (7:6, 6:2).
