Elaine Thompson-Herah won the Diamond League 100m run in Rabat

Elaine Thompson-Herah, the winner of five Olympic gold medals in the sprint, made another fantastic run. The Jamaican sprinter won the 100m sprint at the Diamond League in Rabat with 10.83 seconds (0.3 m/s). Thus, she improved her own record in the tournament, which was 10.87 seconds from 2017. Marie-Josee Ta Lou took second place with 11.04 seconds, and another Jamaican – Natasha Morrison, came third with 11.22 seconds.

The convincing success in the women’s 400 meters was achieved by the silver Olympic medalist from Tokyo Marileidy Paulino, who crossed the finish line in 50.10 seconds.

Elaine Sandra-Lee Thompson-Herah is a Jamaican sprinter who competes in the 60 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters. One of the greatest sprinters of all time, she is a five-time Olympic champion, the fastest woman alive, and the second-fastest in history over both the 100 m and 200 m.
