The Swedish cross-country skier Ebba Andersson won the 20km Classic Mass Start in Les Rousses, France at the Women’s Cross Country Skiing World Cup.
Ebba Andersson, 25, covered the distance in 55:37.2 min, earning her third win of the season and fourth overall of her career.
Kerttu Niskanen (Finland) came in second at 22.1 seconds, and Norwegian Astrid Oyre Slind finished third at 1:20.4 min after the winner.
In the ranking for the World Cup in cross-country skiing, the Norwegian Tiril Weng leads with 1447 points. Finland’s Kerttu Niskanen came second with 1245 points, and American Jessie Diggins came third with 1176 points.
Ebba Andersson is a Swedish cross-country skier who represents the club Pitea Elit. She competed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti, Finland. In the 2018 Olympics Andersson finished fourth in the skiathlon, 0.8 seconds behind bronze medalist Krista Parmakoski.
