Dentil Praia Clube defeated Sports Center 1 to qualify for the semis of the Women’s World Club Volleyball Championship

The Brazilian volleyball team Dentil Praia Clube defeated the Vietnamese Sports Center 1 with 3-0 (25:10, 25:22, 27:25) at the Women’s World Club Volleyball Championship, which is being played in the Chinese city of Hangzhou.

Tainara Santos scored 24 points, while Sofya Kuznetsova made 1 points and Dobriana Rabadzhieva finished the match with 9 points – 7 from attack and two aces.

Dentil Praia Clube has 3 points with its group together with Turkish VakifBank and practically qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament after Sport Center 1 has two losses in third place.

In the other group Eczacibasi defeated Gerdau Minas by 3-0 (25:19, 25:11, 25:18) and also secured qualifying for the semi-finals together with Tianjin Bohai Bank. Gerdau Minas with two losses relegates from the tournament.
