Darya Klishina was eliminated in the long jump qualifiers after an injury

Two-time European indoor long jump champion Darya Klishina of the Russian Olympic Committee failed to qualify for the finals at the Tokyo Olympics and left the stadium in a wheelchair.

Darya Klishina made fouls in his first two attempts and failed to finish third due to injury.

The athlete herself refused to comment on the injury: “I still don’t want to say anything, let it be later”.

Darya Klishina can’t even walk and is waiting to be sent to the Olympic Village hospital. She will be able to go for a medical examination only after passing a doping control.

The 30-year-old Russian is the silver medalist of the 2017 World Championships.
